Kelli Hagerman Named Assistant Director at Progressive Women's Association

Rosalyn Queen, President Board of Directors of the Progressive Women's Association of Harrison County has announced that Kelli Hagerman has been employed as the Assistant Director. Ms. Hagerman will start this position on Jan. 1, 2019. 
Her duties will include fund raising, membership and publicity.  Ms. Hagerman has worked with other non-profits and helped start Addicts Lives Matters in 2017. She was selected for the position because she has worked a number of years with the public.
"Kelli is very eager to help us make a difference in the community.  She will also continue to work on many programs that she has been working on as a volunteer for the PWA," said Queen.
According to Queen, Hagerman will report to Elinda Carson, the Executive Director of PWA.
Queen said that the PWA Board was very peased with the quality of the candidates that applied for the Assistant Director's position. She said that the Board is going to explore additional funding opportunities that may allow the PWA to bring one another part time position.

Mrs. Queen said, “We are extremely excited for the upcoming year and the beginning of new programs and events here at the PWA.  Our Board wants to continue our effort to enhance our mission and better serve the community”.

An open invitation is extended to the general public to visit and tour the PWA's wonderful facility.  Called the Uptown Event Center, the facility is also home to the Vintage Theatre Company.  The PWA has a room to rent with a comlete kitchen facility that seats 80-90 comfortably.
