By Krystian Leonard.  Two weekends ago I had the pleasure of hosting alongside Heather Habura of PA for her 3rd Annual Studio Showcase in Pennsylvania. Not only did I meet and introduce talent and present awards, I also was humbled to receive recognition with a surprise award from Heather for my speaking talent.
I was treated like royalty all weekend, complete with 4 wardrobe changes of custom pageant gowns sponsored by Henri’s Cloud Nine, and make up by the talented Mock Makeup. Attendees were treated to a delicious dinner catered by the Ramada Inn. Silent auctions included tickets to The Voice and other live taping events in L.A. and NYC.
There were notable judges, like Tammy Johns, the President of Miss All Star United States pageant, Richard Kohn, Co-Founder of The Talent Group, and Sha’Ran Marshall, dance choreographer, director, producer and former Cleveland Cavalier Dance Team member.
This year was topped with a guest performance by former Miss Ohio and Broadway’s Glinda Tiffany Hass, who has a new product out called Full Beat!  There were so many incredible talented performers to name; the evening was completely perfection from beginning to end.
The best thing was coming home to a call from Heather asking me back for next year’s showcase! Truly blessed to say yes to such a worthy annual event filled with positive appreciation for the arts and pageantry and all for a great cause, dollars raised were donated to the anti-bullying organization,

Last week I travelled for Channel Kindness reporting to a magical horse ranch called Stars and Strides. I captured beautiful footage of the horses used to help those with life struggles, from physical development, anxiety, and emotional trauma, to stroke, post-traumatic stress and those in the Autism spectrum, through the use of Equine Therapy. Volunteers are comprised of Therapists, Counselors, and Psychologists. I witnessed a milestone for a child as she mounted her horse after weeks of visits to build her courage. The smiles and excitement that are felt by children who look forward to their riding day, is shown from the moment they set foot in the field. The kindness of this nonprofit to provide therapy for these individuals is very heartwarming and needed in our community. Volunteers are welcome and information for about the services that are available can be found at

This week opened up a new opportunity close to home, I received an invitation to speak at the Body Positive Fashion Show which will be held at the WVU Mountainlair Ballrooms in October. Topping off the week I just received confirmation for Shining Scars books, to be shipped to Australia! Ace! And my latest interview for Leadership Strike Group podcast released yesterday. You can catch it in the link below.
Keep shining bright and thank you for following my journey to make our world a little brighter.
