Kirsten Wyatt to Serve as Parade Marshal for Clarksburg Christmas Parade on Friday at 6pm

Clarksburg’s Christmas Parade is Friday, Dec. 1, beginning at 6 p.m. The procession begins in front of Clarksburg Fire Department, traveling east on Main Street to Second Street, then west on Pike Street, concluding at the U.S. Post Office.

This year's parade theme is "It's a Grand Holiday Season." Serving as Parade Marshal is Kirsten Wyatt, Clarksburg native and current New York City Broadway actress. Units will begin lining up at 5 p.m. Marching bands – including Bridgeport High School - should report to the Fairmont State Caperton Center parking lot on Washington Avenue, feeding into the parade from Fifth Street.

Participating floats include Central Supply Co.; Champs Central Gymnastics and Cheer; Clarksburg Central Little League; Core and Main; Dance Unlimited — Performing Arts Center; Harrison County CEOs; Harrison County Elks; Harrison County Parks and Recreation; Harrison County Schools, Transportation Department; Highland-Clarksburg Hospital; Lipps Wrecker Service; Mikasa Dance Company; Nicholson Auto Inc.; North View United Methodist Church; Joe R. Pyle Complete Auction & Realty; River Oaks; Robert C. Byrd Lady Eagle State Champion Soccer Team; Summit Baptist Church Youth Group; Summit Park Volunteer Fire Department; United Home Health and Peoples Hospice. (These units should report to Main Street off Chestnut Street, where a parade marshal will direct participants at the corner of Chestnut and Main streets.)

Division 2 — Liberty High School Marching Band; Harrison County Senior Citizens Center; Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; Genesis Salem Center; Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library; Harrison County CASA?; Washington Irving RAZE; Miss Mountaineer Emily Broughton. (Line up on 6th Street between Main and Pike streets beside Harrison County Senior Citizens Center.)

Division 3 — Bridgeport High School Band; Salem Apple Butter Festival Royalty; Washington Irving Middle School Dance Line; Harrison County West Virginia Historical Society; Chick-fil-A at Emily Drive; WYK Associates Inc.; Freedom KIA of Clarksburg; Stars & Stripes Festival Jr. Miss Olivia Wodnicki; Taylor County Fair Queen Mikey Wodnicki; Spirit of Grafton Pre-Teen Ally Wodnicki. (Line up on Sixth Street between Pike and Sixth Street Bridge.)

(Line up on Sixth Street between Pike and Sixth Street Bridge.)

Division 5 — Doddridge County High School Band of Pride; Clarksburg Mission; WDTV/WVFX; Mountaineer Middle School Dance Line; First Presbyterian Church; Harrison County YMCA; The Outer Rim Praxeum Lightsaber School; Miss Pre-Teen Queen Bridge Day Emilia Turner. (Line up on Clark Street between Fifth and Sixth streets through Fourth Street Bridge or off Sycamore Street into Glen Elk.)

Division 6 — Mitzi Lane marching unit; Encounter Ministries-Duff Street; Temple and Hammond UMC?304 Jeep Club; Spyder Riders; B-2 Race Team; Nemesis Shrine Mini Corvette Unit. (Line up on Clark Street between Fifth and Sixth streets either over the Fourth Street Bridge or off U.S. 50 onto Sycamore to Water Street into Glen Elk.)

Division 7 — Robert C. Byrd High School Flying Eagles Marching Band brings in Santa; Clarksburg Fire Department truck with Santa.
