Nationally Known Fly Fishing Expert Curtis Fleming Visits Liberty High School

By Local News | January 20, 2018
Yes.  He is a nationally known expert on fly fishing.  And yes.  He is a spokesman for the WV State Department of Tourism encouraging anglers from all over the world to visit West Virginia to fish and to enjoy the outdoors.

What a lot of folks don't know is that Curtis Fleming is a graduate of Bridgeport High School and he and his family live in Harrison County.

So when he was asked to visit the Liberty High School fishing club, of course he said YES!

The LHS fishing club has several members.  They welcomed Fleming to the school and talked with him about everything from where to fish, what kind of bait and tackle to use and they got his advice on work and life.  Fleming said that life is a whole lot easier when you get paid for what you love to do.

Here is a link to the story done by WDTV on Fleming's visit this week with several Liberty High School students who share Fleming's passion for fishing.
