Harrison County Board of Education to Consider Calendar Changes Due to Strike

Superintendent Dr. Mark A. Manchin will propose the following changes to the 2017-2018 school calendar. Pending board of education approval on the March 27 meeting, the students' last day is June 8. 
 
Parents and students are encouraged to seek informaton from individual schools for exam schedules as they apply.
 
Here are the changes being proposed by Superintendent Manchin:

March 22 Parent-Teacher Conference is a full day of instruction.

March 30 has been converted to an early dismissal.

Spring Break is April 2-6

April 9 is a full day of instruction.

There are no changes to graduation dates.
