Thrasher Group Donates $100,000 to Support Historic Renovations at Robinson Grand

By Local News | January 14, 2018
The Thrasher Group has donated $100,000 to the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center to assist in renovation and restoration of one of Clarksburg’s most historic landmarks.
The Theater, which first opened in 1913, has played host to many events throughout the past 100-plus years. Thanks to the support of many individuals and corporations, especially the Thrasher Group, the theater will reopen its doors in late spring of 2018.
The entirely updated and renovated facility will play host to a wide array of events that include local, regional, and national acts. The theater’s solid original design and updates will allow for theatrical events, comedy, concerts, lectures, dance recitals, corporate events, and social gatherings.
As a West Virginia-based firm, Thrasher not only understands the value of investing in the City of Clarksburg and surrounding areas, but is also keenly aware of the history and importance of the Robinson Grand Theater.
